Legacy of Atlantis takes players back to the roots of Tomb Raider, offering a reimagined experience of the original story that set the genre in motion. The game, set for release in February, introduces modern elements while retaining the essence of the classic adventure. Developed by Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog, the remake enhances Lara Croft's movements, making her more agile and responsive compared to the original stiff controls.
The gameplay features classic puzzles, new tools like a versatile grapple gadget, and an emphasis on exploration and collectibles. Players can expect a linear adventure with rewarding off-path discoveries and an expanded skill system. Legacy of Atlantis also incorporates combat improvements, introducing a Focus system that adds a fresh dynamic to battles, allowing Lara to execute stylish moves and unleash devastating attacks.
