Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is now available to rent or purchase digitally from PVOD platforms like Prime Video.

The movie, released in theaters on May 22, has grossed over $344 million on a reported budget of roughly $165 million. Despite breaking even, it is the lowest-grossing live-action Star Wars movie. The digital release includes extras like featurettes and audio commentary.

The film's disappointing box office performance led to doubts about the future of the franchise. With a 60% Critics Score on Rotten Tomatoes, the movie received mixed reviews. A full DVD release is planned for August 25, with various formats available for preorder.

Upcoming Star Wars projects include the animated series Star Wars Visions and the live-action movie Star Wars: Starfighter featuring Ryan Gosling, set for release next May. The Mandalorian and Grogu are expected to join Disney+ in early September.
