Xbox Game Pass Unveils June 2026 Wave 2 Lineup

Amid reports of potential studio closures and mass layoffs, Microsoft has announced the Xbox Game Pass June 2026 Wave 2 lineup of games.

Microsoft has revealed the lineup of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the second half of June and early July. Titles include EA Sports FC 26, RV There Yet?, Winds of Arcana: Ruination, and the 2021 Call of Duty game Vanguard. The announcement comes amidst rumors of studio closures and layoffs, with Xbox Game Studios boss Craig Duncan stepping down.

Following Xbox boss Asha Sharma's strategic reset, Microsoft is reportedly considering studio closures and potential spin-offs. The company is accelerating the development of new games like The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Halo. The memo highlighted a decline in annual revenue despite significant investments in content and hardware over the past five years.

Sharma's efforts to revamp the Xbox brand have faced challenges, with recent layoffs and a decrease in Game Pass subscribers after a price hike. The upcoming Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 lineup includes titles like Call of Duty: Vanguard, EA Sports FC 26, Abyssus, RV There Yet?, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, and Winds of Arcana: Ruination.

As the gaming industry evolves, Microsoft aims to enhance Xbox's monetization strategies and deliver sustainable entertainment experiences. The changes in pricing and exclusive titles mark a shift in the company's approach to engaging with its gaming community.
