Xbox Game Pass for Discord Nitro Subscribers Officially Announced

Xbox and Discord have officially unveiled the new starter edition of Xbox Game Pass available to Discord Nitro subscribers at no extra cost.

Today's reveal marks the official announcement of the collaboration between Xbox and Discord, following Xbox boss Asha Sharma's confirmation of their enhanced partnership. The new offering, referred to as the Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition, features a curated collection of over 50 classic games, including popular titles like Grounded, Stardew Valley, and Doom Eternal. This edition is designed to align with the catalog available to Xbox Game Pass Essential members.

In addition to the game lineup, Discord Nitro subscribers will also receive 250 Discord Orbs and a 1.2x multiplier for completing Quests. The Game Pass Starter Edition includes 10 hours of cloud gaming, allowing players to stream games on various devices instantly. These updates aim to enhance the gaming experience for subscribers, offering a diverse range of genres and seamless gameplay.

Furthermore, Xbox has implemented price reductions for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass on PC, alongside the exclusion of new Call of Duty titles from the subscription service at launch. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is now priced at $22.99 per month, down from $29.99, while PC Game Pass is available at $13.99 per month, reduced from $16.49.
