Owlcat Games finally released a gameplay trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy at IGN Live 2026, its latest foray into the grim sci-fi universe after 2023's Rogue Trader.

Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy puts players in the role of an Inquisitor, tasked with uncovering a conspiracy and solving mysteries. Players will search crime scenes, collect evidence, and make choices that can lead to different outcomes, allowing for both clean and corrupt investigative approaches. The game features combat mechanics similar to Rogue Trader but introduces new elements like targeting specific body parts for strategic advantages.
