Games Workshop has finally given Warhammer 40,000 fans the news they’ve craved for years: a release date for animated series Astartes 2.

In a recent announcement on Warhammer Community, Games Workshop revealed that Astartes 2 is scheduled to premiere in December. Alongside a new promotional video, fans were treated to two fresh shots from the upcoming series, offering a glimpse into what's to come. Despite the visuals, many details about Astartes 2 remain unknown, such as the number and duration of episodes.

The original Astartes, a fan creation by Syama Pedersen, garnered immense popularity, leading to an official sequel. Last year, Games Workshop teased fans with animation snippets featuring the Deathwatch Terminator squad. Astartes 2 promises to deliver unprecedented scale and quality, showcasing intense battles involving various Space Marine chapters and enemy factions like Tyranids, Orks, and Tau.
