Microsoft recently removed Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 from the Xbox Game Pass lineup for July without providing any reasons for the action. Speculation suggests that licensing issues may be behind the removal, given the game's extensive use of 2000s-era music and real-world skateboarding brands. Despite Microsoft's ownership of the game and the Tony Hawk Pro Skater IP following its acquisition of publisher Activision, the game has been taken down from the service. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 remains accessible on Game Pass, having been added last year. No replacement for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 has been announced yet.

Several new games have been added to Game Pass this month, including Winds of Arcana, Tamashika, Ascend to Zero, and PBA Pro Bowling 2026. The lineup also features Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, Mavrix by Matt Jones, FixForce, The Planet Crafter, and Fogpiercer. Additionally, Gears of War: Reloaded joined the service earlier this month. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, which debuted in September 2020, was well-received for its modernization of the classic Pro Skater games, offering updated levels, enhanced trick systems, and engaging challenges.
