CD Projekt revealed the upcoming third expansion for The Witcher 3, named Songs of the Past, set to release in 2027. This expansion, co-developed with Fool’s Theory, reunites players with Geralt of Rivia for a new adventure on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. More details are expected to be unveiled in late summer 2026.
The announcement follows rumors circulating online about the expansion, with CD Projekt confirming the DLC a day before an official special anniversary stream for Blood and Wine. The company also hinted at system requirement updates for The Witcher 3 to accommodate the new content. Meanwhile, CD Projekt's busy schedule includes ongoing production of The Witcher 4 and plans for The Witcher 5 and 6, with Cyberpunk 2 not expected until at least 2030. Fans can look forward to more Cyberpunk content outside of gaming, as CD Projekt prepares for a panel on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 at Anime Expo in Los Angeles on July 3.
