Electronic Arts (EA) has unveiled a major update for The Sims 4, focusing on revamping the gameplay mechanics for infants and toddlers. This update introduces the Base Layer, a new clothing item that can be worn beneath other garments such as tops and pants. Additionally, the patch addresses various bugs and implements quality-of-life improvements based on feedback from players on the EA Forums and other social platforms.
The upcoming update, scheduled to go live on May 12, aims to enhance the gaming experience for Simmers by refining core gameplay elements. EA expressed its commitment to incorporating player feedback from platforms like EA Forums and The Sims Discord to ensure a smoother, more intuitive, and consistent gameplay experience. The Base Layer clothing items, which include camisoles, bras, binders, and other undergarments, will feature a total of 14 variations with over 380 color swatches and options for adults, children, and toddlers.
