The Odyssey's 70MM IMAX release is being extended by a month.

If you missed out on seeing The Odyssey in 70MM IMAX, you're in luck. Originally set to run until mid-August, IMAX has now added showtimes at select theaters until September 16th, offering more opportunities to experience the film. The 70MM IMAX format provides a unique viewing experience, with limited theaters in the U.S. capable of screening films in this format, making tickets scarce.

Considered the optimal way to watch the film, 70MM IMAX offers a larger image, unparalleled resolution, immersive sound, and a cinematic texture. Due to its success, tickets for 70MM IMAX screenings have been in high demand, often selling out. The film's popularity has also had a positive impact on Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Odyssey, drawing more players to the game inspired by Homer's epic poem.
