After years of waiting and one big delay, director Matt Reeves has confirmed The Batman Part 2 has officially commenced principal photography by posting the first image from the set.
The filmmakers behind the Robert Pattinson-led DC movie took to X/Twitter to share the news. It comes with a picture of a clapperboard featuring its bat symbol logo, with a blurry background showing what appears to be a person's body lying on a table or slab in what looks a lot like a morgue.
Despite Reeves and the rest of DC drip-feeding the internet with plot teases and major cast updates over the past year, we still don't know much about The Batman Part 2. While some believe the infamous Court of Owls will play a large role in the sequel, others looking into past posts from Reeves believe Mr. Freeze could somehow show up.
Last week, Pattinson shared details about his process when it came to training for his return as Bruce Wayne. And just yesterday, Colin Farrell spilled the beans that his Penguin character will only show up for two scenes.
