Tech Experts Criticize Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops PS5 Port

Activision’s ports of Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 have faced criticism for their pricing and graphics performance.

The tech experts at Digital Foundry reviewed the 2010 Black Ops port to PlayStation and highlighted issues such as running at 1080p instead of 4K, lack of anti-aliasing, and limited 60Hz frame-rate even on PS5. They described the situation as 'a deeply odd state of affairs' for a native PS5 title.

Compared to Xbox Series X and S, the PlayStation versions offer better resolutions. The pricing for the Black Ops ports is $40 each, with a $29.99 season pass for each game. PlayStation Plus subscribers can avail the games at $20 each until August 6.
