Take-Two Stock Predicted to Rise After GTA 6 Preorders and $80 Price

Following the start of preorders for GTA 6 and the confirmation of its $80 price point, stock analysts have weighed in with their price targets for shares of Rockstar's owner, Take-Two, and many see a bright future ahead.

Despite Take-Two's stock price decrease post GTA 6 preorders, analysts foresee significant gains. Bank of America's Omar Dessouky raised his Take-Two stock price target to $368 from $320. BMO Capital's Brian Pitz increased his target to $285 from $280. TD Cowen's Doug Creutz reiterated a Buy rating with a $284 target. B. Riley Securities' Drew Crum forecasts $300, and BTIG's Clark Lampen maintains a $290 target. Tipranks shared these insights.

Take-Two's stock hit $260+ in 2025 but has since dropped. Year-to-date, it's down 7%, and over a year, it fell by 3%. The stock dipped to $190 in Feb after Google's AI game tools release. Experts criticized the selloff, noting AI can't rival GTA 6. GTA 6 preorders are live for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, offering $80 standard and $100 ultimate editions, with no disc version at launch.
