Stalker 2's First Major Expansion Coming Soon

Stalker 2's first expansion, Cost of Hope, is set to release in a few weeks across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, promising hours of new content and improvements.

Stalker 2: Cost of Hope, the first expansion for Stalker 2, will put players back in the shoes of protagonist Skif, following a mysterious PDA signal in the conflict-ridden Zone involving Duty and Freedom factions. The expansion, offering new allies, enemies, weapons, and locations, is expected to provide players with dozens of hours of gameplay. Alongside the expansion, the base game will receive Update 2.0, introducing a new version of Unreal Engine 5 and various additional content and enhancements, all for free. Stalker 2: Cost of Hope is scheduled to launch on August 20, expanding the game's availability beyond its initial PC release to Xbox Series X|S and PS5 platforms.
