VGP cited its policy against selling games with only digital codes and expressed willingness to stock the game if released on disc by Rockstar. Similarly, LBG emphasized the importance of honoring customers who purchase physical products.

Both VGP and LBG, though smaller in size compared to major retailers like Target and Walmart, have received positive feedback for their stance on game preservation. Despite this, the impact of their decision on GTA 6's launch and sales is expected to be minimal. Meanwhile, GameStop has yet to comment on the matter, surprising some given its active online presence in the gaming community.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to launch on November 19, featuring a single-player experience. The absence of details on the game's online component has left many fans speculating about what to expect.
