Solo Leveling: Beyond the System Movie Announced

After two seasons, the anime series Solo Leveling will continue its story with a full-length movie adaptation, Solo Leveling: Beyond the System.

None other than Sung Jinwoo's English voice actor Aleks Le revealed the news that the title was in production as part of Crunchyroll's Anime Expo showcase. The movie will pick up where season 2, Solo Leveling: Arise from the Shadow, left off. We didn't get a release date or any news on a full season 3 of the show, but we did get a concept video and some moody key art for the movie.

Anime studio A-1 Pictures, known for Sword Art Online and Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV, is providing the animation in collaboration with Aniplex, Netmarble, D&C MEDIA, Kakao Piccoma, and Crunchyroll. Solo Leveling follows the story of Sung Jinwoo, a supernatural monster hunter who transforms from the 'World’s Weakest Hunter' to a formidable force. The anime is based on a 2016 South Korean web novel, later adapted into a webtoon in 2018. The first season aired on Crunchyroll in 2024, with season 2 released last year.
