SNK told us how they managed to pull off one of Kenshiro's most iconic moves without sacrificing their Teen ESRB rating.

Kenshiro, a popular anime character, joined Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves in June. Producers Shinya Tamaki and Hayato Konya discussed the difficulties of adapting Kenshiro's gory fighting style for a less violent game. They creatively represented his explosive technique without showing blood, maintaining the essence of the character.

To ensure Kenshiro's inclusion, they used visual effects to imply explosions without graphic content. Tamaki emphasized the importance of balancing Kenshiro's unique abilities with the game's rating. Despite the challenges, Kenshiro's addition was well-received by fans and strategically broadened the game's appeal beyond fighting game enthusiasts.

While SNK has no plans for a new Fist of the North Star game, they continue to innovate within their existing titles. The recent announcement of The Path of the Warrior: Art of Fighting 3 R signifies ongoing development within the SNK universe, promising exciting updates for fans.
