Shrek Joins Ubisoft's Brawlhalla Fighting Game

After Shrek was added to a popular soccer game, everyone's favorite green ogre is now in Ubisoft's fighting game Brawlhalla.

Shrek, Fiona, and Puss in Boots have been added to Brawlhalla in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the original Shrek movie. The event, running until August 19, introduces new characters with unique fighting styles and items. Shrek wields his iconic 'Beware of Ogre' sign, Fiona relies on her fists and feet, while Puss uses his sword and lance. Donkey also makes an appearance as a companion character.

In addition to the character additions, new maps like Shrek's Swamp and Shrek's Muddy Swamp have been included in the game. Players can purchase various in-game items, such as a KO effect featuring Mongo the gingerbread man and emoji skins of Lord Farquaad, Dragon, and Pinocchio.

The Shrek franchise, known for its massive success, is expanding with the upcoming release of Shrek 5 in Summer 2027 and a Donkey movie in 2028. The movies, along with Shrek-themed attractions at Universal Studios, continue to keep the beloved green ogre relevant and popular after 25 years.
