Riftbound’s fourth and newest booster set, Vendetta, is just around the corner.
Riftbound’s latest booster set, Vendetta, is on the horizon, bringing new additions to the card game including fresh faces and mechanics. The exclusive reveal showcases Gangplank, a new rare champion unit with the Empower keyword and a unique full art overnumbered variant.
Gangplank, a robust six-cost card with six might, poses a significant investment, especially considering the empower cost. Once empowered, Gangplank transforms into a resilient tank, impeding removal attempts by nullifying spells or abilities that aim to hinder him, instead gaining +3 might. This resilience makes him a formidable presence on the battlefield, countering specific deck strategies if left unattended.
Gangplank, classified as a Body (Orange) card, benefits from his rune color's tools and the ability to neutralize various effects. His release in Riftbound Vendetta's English version is scheduled for July 31, with pre-release events commencing from July 24 at local game stores.
