Kamiya, who directed Leon's introduction to the series in Resident Evil 2, recently made headlines when he suggested a 'non-scary mode' for Resident Evil Requiem, focusing on puzzles. Expanding on this, he proposed a non-scary sequel where Leon enjoys retirement without zombies. Instead of fighting mutants, Leon would fish, fix appliances, and care for his dog.
Kamiya shared his idea on social media, envisioning a game where retired Leon leads a peaceful life: fishing, foraging, baking, and helping neighbors. While fans await Resident Evil Requiem's expansion, Kamiya's retirement concept offers a unique twist, diverging from the traditional horror elements of the franchise.
