Red Bull Athlete Sets Haystack Jump World Record

A Red Bull athlete has broken a world record while recreating the iconic 'Leap of Faith' from Assassin’s Creed.

A professional freerunner, stuntwoman, and Red Bull athlete named Lilou Ruel successfully jumped 18.2 meters into a massive stack of hay, setting a new world record for the highest haystack jump. This feat, equivalent to the height of a six-story building, was captured in a viral video by Red Bull, showing Ruel screaming as she neared the ground.

Ruel landed safely in the hay, prompting cheers and celebration from her friends for conquering the daring stunt. In an Instagram post, she humorously thanked Red Bull for giving her 'wings for a few seconds' and even suggested the possibility of attempting an even higher jump.

In a previous record-breaking event, Red Bull athlete Dominic Tommasso leaped 18.1 meters into a haystack while dressed as Edward Kenway from Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. The game itself has seen remarkable success, selling over 3 million copies within a week of release, with plans for a new game plus mode announced by Ubisoft. Additionally, the title generated $1 million from day-one DLC sales on Steam, marking a significant milestone for the Assassin’s Creed series on PC.
