Downdetector reported the ongoing PSN issues, which caused difficulties with logging in, launching games, and connecting to servers.
During the outage, players faced challenges accessing the Marvel Tokon multiplayer beta that launched on the same day. Developers acknowledged the login and network problems, assuring players of ongoing investigations into the root cause. Sony's PlayStation Status page also provided updates, stating that the issue has been resolved, and services have returned to normal.
