PSN Experiences Network Issues but Now Resolved

Sony's PlayStation Network was experiencing network issues today, July 24, but those problems now seem to have been resolved.

On July 24, Sony's PlayStation Network encountered network problems that have since been fixed. The official PlayStation Status page confirms that all services are now operational after an hours-long outage. Initially, all services, including account management, gaming, social features, PlayStation Video, PlayStation Store, and PlayStation Direct, were affected. Downdetector reported the ongoing PSN issues, which caused difficulties with logging in, launching games, and connecting to servers.

During the outage, players faced challenges accessing the Marvel Tokon multiplayer beta that launched on the same day. Developers acknowledged the login and network problems, assuring players of ongoing investigations into the root cause. Sony's PlayStation Status page also provided updates, stating that the issue has been resolved, and services have returned to normal.
