This officially licensed Pokémon collectible ranks among the largest puzzles globally, according to Ravensburger, marking it as one of the most extensive officially licensed puzzles ever created.
Notably, Ravensburger has previously crafted a 'Memorable Disney Moments' puzzle matching the scale of the upcoming Pokémon set, also at 40,320 pieces. In comparison, the Guinness World Records state that the current record for the 'Most pieces in a jigsaw puzzle' stands at 551,232, completed by 1,600 students in Vietnam.
The world's largest commercially available puzzle, 'What a Wonderful World' by Dowdle, features 60,000 pieces across sixty 1,000-piece puzzles, measuring 8 by 29 feet and priced at around $1299. Despite the steep $730 price tag for the Pokémon puzzle, the division into ten 4,000-piece puzzles, each showcasing an iconic Pokémon with a memorable location, allows for a more manageable assembly process.
