Pokémon Pokopia has revealed a new in-game event called "Wish Upon a Jirachi" starting on June 23. During this two-week event, players will have the chance to meet the Mythical creature Jirachi and obtain exclusive furniture items. Similar to previous events, players can find Jirachi at completed Pokémon Centers and exchange event currency for unique décor.
Recent artwork from retailers showcasing the Pokémon Pokopia expansion pass hints at the introduction of new Pokémon species and costume accessories for existing creatures. Fans speculate about the possibility of customizable looks for various species, including fairy wings and bowties. The artwork also features sparkles resembling the iconic Shiny Pokémon indicator, suggesting that Shiny Pokémon may soon be part of the game.
Nintendo has teased more details about the Pokopia expansion pass, scheduled to release content updates from this summer through 2027. While awaiting further announcements, players can gear up for the Jirachi event or refer to IGN's guide on time traveling in Pokémon Pokopia for a head start.
