Frontier Developments may not have formally announced a sequel to its delightful zoo sim, Planet Zoo, but that hasn't stopped someone trimming up the game's YouTube channel with some not-so-subtle hints that Planet Zoo 2 is on the way.

As spotted by Eurogamer, the series' official YouTube page now features both the head and avatar image updated with a '2' at the end, strongly suggesting the imminent arrival of Planet Zoo 2. While there hasn't been an official announcement yet, this update seems to serve as a clear confirmation of the sequel's existence.

Frontier had previously hinted at a follow-up to Planet Zoo in a trailer marking the sim's sixth anniversary. With this recent development, it appears that the game is not only in development but could be nearing its release. Perhaps more details will be revealed during the upcoming Summer Games Fest.
