Phasmophobia's latest event, 'Phasmophobia by Alan Wake,' kicks off today, May 12, marking the game's first collaboration with another franchise. Players can now unlock skins resembling Alan Wake and FBI agent Saga Anderson from Remedy Entertainment's Alan Wake 2. The event introduces revamped versions of four maps that now reflect the Alan Wake universe, incorporating elements from Alan Wake 2's locations and events.
The updated maps include Nell's Diner, the two farmhouses, and Camp Woodwind, each offering a fresh experience within the Alan Wake theme. Throughout the event, players will search for pages from Alan Wake's writings and face off against foes like cultists in deer masks, maintaining Phasmophobia's core gameplay while adding new challenges and items inspired by Remedy's title, such as Alan's angel lamp. Notably, the event's narrative was penned by Sam Lake, Remedy's creative director, and will include voiceover work by Matthew Poretta, the voice of Alan Wake.
