The Palworld TCG has officially launched, and so too has a wave of scalpers looking to make a quick buck on developer Pocketpair's new collectible cards.
The Palworld TCG, developed by Pocketpair, has launched its official trading card game in partnership with Bushiroad, releasing the first wave of cards called Dawn of Palpagos on July 30, 2026. This launch has led to a surge in scalpers trying to profit off the game, with some cards being sold for hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
eBay has seen a rise in listings for Palworld TCG items, including booster box cases and rare individual cards. Prices for these items range from $499.99 for a booster box case to $1,800 for cases on the online marketplace. Some rare cards, like the Cattiva Gold Soul Card, have been sold for nearly $4,000 before the official launch date, showcasing the demand among collectors and scalpers.
Despite the high prices, some cards have seen a slight decrease in value after the initial hype, with certain rare cards now selling for around $1,000 each. Pocketpair has reported strong pre-launch orders, with 3.5 million packs ordered before the release date, indicating a promising start for the Palworld TCG.
