Back when IO's James Bond adventure, 007 First Light, was first revealed, eagle-eyed watch enthusiasts immediately noticed the new Omega watch that this latest iteration of the MI6 spy was wearing.
Omega has started selling the Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph 007 First Light on the eve of the game's release. The watch closely resembles the existing Seamaster Diver Chronograph but features bronze accents on the dial to match the game's color palette. Priced at $9,400, the watch includes bronze gold coating on the hour and minutes sub-dial, as well as the seconds hand, giving it a distinct look. This special edition also bears the 007 First Light stamp on its sapphire crystal caseback, showcasing the watch's intricate movement.
Unlike previous Bond watches, this Omega release is not tied to a specific Bond film. Omega has been James Bond's watch brand since 1995's GoldenEye, and this new watch marks the first Bond-specific release for a video game launch. With no new Bond film in sight, the collaboration between Omega and the 007 game makes perfect sense, especially considering the trend of modern games partnering with luxury watch brands like Hamilton for various in-game tie-ins.
