Nintendo Unveils Pictonico!: A Mobile Game Transforming Your Selfies

Nintendo has a new mobile game on the way, which will turn your selfies into quirky WarioWare-esque minigames.

Nintendo is gearing up to launch a new mobile game called Pictonico!, set to debut on May 28 for both Android and iPhone users. Developed in collaboration with Intelligent Systems, the minds behind the WarioWare series, Pictonico! promises a unique gaming experience where your photos are integrated into amusing minigames. This innovative title allows players to incorporate faces from their own pictures, transforming real individuals into characters within the game's whimsical challenges.

Pictonico! is slated to offer 80 minigames upon its release and will follow a “free-to-start” model. While a limited selection of minigames will be available for free, the complete set can be acquired through two separate purchase options. Volume 1 will be priced at $8, while Volume 2 will cost $6, both available as one-time purchases rather than ongoing subscriptions. The game will provide various gameplay modes, including a stage-based progression mode and challenging “Score Attack” missions featuring escalating difficulty levels, high-speed challenges, and sudden death rounds.
