Nintendo Direct June 2026 Live Updates

Nintendo is set to reveal what’s coming for Switch and Switch 2 owners during the second half of 2026 at a brand new Nintendo Direct showcase today, and we’ll have live updates right here so you don’t miss a thing.

Nintendo is gearing up to unveil upcoming releases for the Switch and Switch 2 in the latter part of 2026 at a fresh Nintendo Direct event. The showcase is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, starting at 7am PT / 10am ET / 3pm UK time, with a duration of 50 minutes. This Direct will primarily highlight games set to launch in the latter half of the year, hinting at major reveals that will enhance the fall and winter lineup for the Switch 2.

Anticipation is high for potential announcements such as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, rumored to be releasing this Christmas to mark the 40th anniversary of the Zelda franchise. Speculation also surrounds the possibility of a trailer for the live-action The Legend of Zelda movie slated for 2027. Additionally, reports suggest that Nintendo is working on a new Wario game, 2D Metroid, a Switch 2 Edition for Pikmin 4, and a fresh Switch Sports title, which might make an appearance at the event.

Confirmed Nintendo releases for this year include Star Fox later this month, Rhythm Heaven Groove next month, Splatoon Raiders in July, and Fire Emblem Shadows in September. Fans can also expect updates on titles from third-party developers, potentially including a new look at The Duskbloods, the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive from FromSoftware, expected to launch in 2026. Following the Nintendo Direct, a 95-minute Treehouse Live segment will delve deeper into the showcased games.
