New Switch Sports Game Revealed For Switch 2 With Unexpected Sport

As part of today's Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, the latest entry in its series that has so far included Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resorts, Wii Sports Club, and Nintendo Switch Sports.

The new game, Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, features 12 sports, including the unexpected addition of thumb-wrestling. Set to launch on October 22 exclusively for Switch 2, players can enjoy various sports on Wuhu Island, such as boxing, table tennis, archery, tennis, volleyball, bowling, basketball, golf, skateboarding, power cruising, prop plane, and jump rope. This release follows Nintendo's decision to increase the price of the Switch 2 to $500 in September.
