Netflix has announced its latest video game, and it brings together a number of the streaming giant's popular franchises into a crossover minigolf experience.

Netflix has unveiled its new video game, Netflix Minigolf, a couch co-op party game set to release on July 28 for all subscribers. The game merges minigolf and pinball elements across 60+ levels inspired by Netflix series like Stranger Things, Bridgerton, and Squid Game. Developed by Next Games, known for titles like Netflix Puzzled and Boggle Party, players can collect 'Pranks' to disrupt opponents while controlling characters from the TV shows. The game, supporting up to four players locally, utilizes the player's phone as the controller.

The launch of Netflix Minigolf coincides with Netflix's recent golf-themed content, including the show The Hawk starring Will Ferrell. This release follows Netflix's previous game launches this year, such as a World Cup game and the horror title Unhinged. Netflix Games has shifted focus towards social and party games, aiming to establish itself as a go-to gaming destination for immersive storytelling experiences.
