Mouse: P.I. For Hire, the stylish first-person shooter dressed up as a 1930s cartoon, has topped 730,000 sales since its launch in April.
Publisher PlaySide has confirmed that the game has surpassed 730,000 sales since its release in April. During a financial presentation to investors, PlaySide announced that the publishing and marketing costs have been recovered, and the revenue for FY26 is expected to reach $36-£38 million, up from $34.7 million. The success is attributed to the strong sales performance of Mouse: P.I. For Hire on PC and console platforms, despite the delayed launch and absence of major external project wins this year.
PlaySide also shared that console units now account for 50% of total units sold, with the game maintaining high visibility on console storefronts. Mouse: P.I. For Hire, developed by Fumi Games, offers players an adventure with private investigator Jack Pepper, combining 1930s cartoon aesthetics with intense first-person shooter action. The game has received a 'Very Positive' user score on Steam.
