Monopoly Go Teams Up with The Simpsons for Billionaire Showdown

A new battle of the billionaires kicks off this week in Monopoly Go, as the game's mustachioed mascot takes on Springfield's sun-blocking tyrant from The Simpsons, Mr. Burns.

Scopely has revealed a collaboration between Monopoly Go and The Simpsons, featuring iconic characters and locations from the beloved animated series. Running from June 3 to July 29, the event introduces a Monopoly Go twist to Springfield landmarks and includes fan-favorite characters like the Simpsons family and Mr. Burns. Players can enjoy new gameplay elements such as hidden details, references, and Easter eggs, including the ability to bribe Chief Wiggum for an early jail release.

The crossover aims to create a shared universe where players can experience fresh gameplay while immersing Simpsons fans in the Monopoly Go world for the first time. Scopely promises interconnected gameplay, original narratives, and seasonal maps, with narrative-driven episodes inspired by The Simpsons unfolding every two weeks. These episodes will feature collectibles, mini-games, and over 50 Simpsons-themed Chance Cards.
