The last major widespread Minecraft outage occurred in October 2025 when the global Microsoft Azure cloud disruption affected services, including Minecraft authentication and Xbox Live. Around 12:30 AM PT on June 1, players started reporting issues with launching Minecraft via Downdetector. Attempts to connect to the game through the Minecraft Launcher resulted in error messages indicating problems with connecting to Minecraft services and verifying owned products. These issues are likely related to authentication servers, impacting player logins and gameplay in Realms, servers, and multiplayer sessions. The problem is also affecting users launching Minecraft from third-party launchers like Prism or Curseforge. As of now, there have been no updates from the official Mojang Support X account, and the situation is being closely monitored.
