Netflix revealed that Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour, known for their roles in Stranger Things, will portray a father-daughter pair in an upcoming spy drama series penned by Jack Thorne. The show, which is yet to be titled, will revolve around a disgraced FBI agent, Matt Wolfe (played by Harbour), who is pulled back into his past life after his estranged daughter, Rebecca (Brown), a determined FBI agent, goes missing during a mission.
Despite the absence of an official title, Netflix has secured a strong team for the series, including producers like Jake Bongiovi and Robert Brown from Brown's family production company, PCMA Productions. Additionally, Joe Hipps, Patrick McDonald, and KC Wenson are also on board as producers.
Netflix's head of scripted series for the US and Canada, Jinny Howe, expressed excitement about the project, highlighting Thorne's storytelling prowess and the reunion of Brown and Harbour in new roles. The streaming giant praised A24 as the ideal partner to bring this compelling narrative to audiences worldwide.
