Midnight Murder Club Receives Final Update with Reassurance

Midnight Murder Club, the positively received horror party game from the developers of Knockout City, is getting one more update before the studio moves on.

Velan Studios has announced that Update 2.0.008, the final planned update for Midnight Murder Club, is now live. This update specifically addresses controller-rumble issues on Steam. Despite this being the last update, public and private matches will continue to be available. Velan Studios emphasized their commitment to game preservation, stating that they will not be shutting down Midnight Murder Club, following a similar approach taken with Knockout City.

Velan Studios also mentioned that they will monitor the game and release patches if necessary to ensure players can continue enjoying the game. Midnight Murder Club, known for its hide-and-seek gameplay with a darkly humorous twist, was officially released in August 2025 after a period of early access. Priced at $10, the game is accessible on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Looking ahead, Velan Studios has developed the new Star Fox game for the upcoming Switch 2 release on June 25.
