Maverick Games to Unveil New AAA Open-World Driving Game Tomorrow

Independent studio Maverick Games will reveal its new AAA open-world action-driving game on June 2, at 11am London BST.

Founded by former Forza Horizon 5 creative director Mike Brown, Maverick Games has been teasing the game through a countdown livestream from a modified Fiat Multipla in their Leamington Spa-based studio. Despite Amazon pulling out of a publishing deal earlier this year, development has been progressing steadily, with the announcement still on track.

Established in 2022 by ex-Playground Games staff, Maverick Games is working on a premium open-world title for consoles and PC. The team includes talents like producer Tom Butcher and technical director Matt Craven, among others.
