Matt Damon's Odysseus Joins Fortnite with Epic Games Update

Fresh from his epic journey home after the Trojan War, Matt Damon's Odysseus is set to make an appearance in Fortnite's battle royale item shop following the game's next update.

Odysseus, based on the likeness of Matt Damon, will be accompanied by a second skin featuring Agamemnon, played by Benny Safdie in the movie. Epic Games has teased the arrival of these new skins, adding to the roster of famous characters in the game. Players will have the chance to obtain Odysseus through an in-game tournament, with additional rewards for participation.

The Odyssey movie, directed by Christopher Nolan, is also set to premiere in theaters on July 17, 2026, offering fans a star-studded cast and a fresh perspective on the ancient world. Despite the unexpected crossover between the epic poem and the popular battle royale game, the addition of Odysseus and Agamemnon is sure to excite both Fortnite and movie fans alike.
