While everyone is debating the disc-lessness of Grand Theft Auto 6, developer Insomniac Games has confirmed that Marvel's Wolverine will include a disc in the physical version.

Insomniac Games responded to a fan inquiry confirming that Marvel's Wolverine will indeed have a disc included in the box, unlike the upcoming GTA 6. This decision comes after Rockstar Games announced a disc-less version of GTA 6, opting for a download code instead. While digital downloads offer convenience, physical media ensures long-term access to the game as long as the disc remains functional.

Marvel's Wolverine, set to launch as a PlayStation exclusive on September 15, will provide players with the traditional physical disc experience, allowing them to play the game as long as the disc is operational. This move contrasts with the industry trend towards digital-only releases, emphasizing the value of physical media for gamers.

Changes in Marvel's Wolverine, such as toning down Logan's character and excluding the X-Men, aim to offer a unique experience for players.
