After concerns arose over Marvel's Blade absence at the Xbox Games Showcase, reports clarified that the game is not cancelled.
Marvel's Blade, an upcoming third-person action game set in Paris, has been a topic of speculation due to lack of updates since its 2023 announcement. Recent comments from Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb debunked rumors of the game's cancellation, attributing the silence to undisclosed reasons, not game issues.
Blade was first revealed at The Game Awards in 2023, with concept art hinting at a narrative involving vampires dominating Paris, opposed by the Daywalker. Despite missing from the Xbox Games Showcase, other titles like Halo: Campaign Evolved, Gears of War: E-Day, and Fable were featured with release dates set in the coming months. Notably, Gears of War: E-Day will be exclusive to Xbox consoles.
