Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls unveiled its final team, the Samurai Outriders, at Evo 2026, featuring characters like Blade, Loki, Ghost Rider, and the chaotic Deadpool. Deadpool pays homage to various fighting games with references like the Naruto run, Jack-O pose from Guilty Gear Strive, and moves reminiscent of Mortal Kombat and Tekken. Additionally, Deadpool mimics attacks from Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale, showcasing a wide array of gaming tributes.
Moreover, Deadpool's ultimate move includes Lady Deadpool using Jam's Ryuujin Kick, inspired by Persona, and striking a Sailor Moon pose. The character is once again voiced by Nolan North, known for his work in various Marvel games. Sony has announced a Marvel Tokon open beta starting on July 24, with Blade as a playable character. The game is set to launch on August 6 for PC and PS5, offering players the chance to create their dream team from the Marvel Tokon character roster.
