Legendary Star Wars actor Mark Hamill is joining Peacock's Twisted Metal TV show for its upcoming third season.

Mark Hamill, known for his iconic role as Luke Skywalker, is set to join the cast of Peacock's Twisted Metal TV show for its third season. The show, based on the PlayStation game, has been a hit for the platform, with Hamill playing the character Pope Charlie Kane, leader of the Eastern Sovereignty and Sweet Tooth's father. The show features Anthony Mackie as John Doe, Stephanie Beatriz as Quiet, and Joe Seanoa as Sweet Tooth, with Will Arnett voicing the character.

Twisted Metal's success has attracted other big names like Anthony Carrigan and Tiana Okoye in previous seasons. The show is produced in part by PlayStation Productions, known for developing adaptations of PlayStation games for film and TV. Season 3 of Twisted Metal will see a change in showrunner, with David Reed taking over from Michael Jonathan Smith.
