Marathon's Season 2 Begins Soon with First Wipe

Marathon Season 2 will start June 2, bringing the first seasonal wipe to Bungie's extraction shooter and resetting the playing field.

Bungie announced that Marathon Season 2 will commence on June 2, marking the first seasonal wipe for the extraction shooter game. The reset will impact various aspects of the game, including runner and ranked levels, faction levels and upgrades, currencies (excluding premium ones), items in players' vaults, schema unlocks, and seasonal codex entries that reward gear based on player levels.

This move comes as Bungie aims to provide a fresh experience for players, detailing what will and will not carry over between seasons. With the upcoming changes, players can anticipate a revamped gameplay environment and new challenges as Season 2 kicks off.
