Marathon Reveals New PvE Mode Release Date and Season 3 Start

Marathon has set a release date for its upcoming PvE mode, Vault Breaker, as well as the start of Season 3.

Marathon will introduce its new PvE mode, Vault Breaker, on July 21st in the mid-season update. Players can explore the Cryo Archive map, engaging in challenging vaults either solo or with allies. The mode features a unique progression system to enhance player power before facing the final vault. To participate, players need a special Sponsored Kit, and all gear found within the vaults remains except for Vault Data, a new currency for upgrades and gear.

Additionally, the update will include the Cradle Evolution system, allowing players to reset their maxed Cradle for extra Energy points and cosmetic items. Quality-of-life changes like tuning adjustments and player profile stats are also part of the update. Despite Season 2 just starting, Marathon has announced that Season 3 will commence on September 22nd with significant new content and gameplay adjustments.
