Man Arrested for Threatening Nintendo with Bomb Attacks

In March, Nintendo reportedly received letters about bombs being planted at its headquarters in Kyoto, Japan, with one message stating: “I’m going to blow you all up.”

The 27-year-old man who allegedly sent bomb threats to Nintendo has been apprehended by Koto police for obstruction of business. Despite claiming to have planted multiple bombs, none were found during the search of Nintendo's headquarters. The suspect has confessed to the charges. This incident is not the first time Nintendo has faced threats; in December 2023, they canceled a major event due to security concerns.
