Love and Deepspace fans are holding memorial services for Valko after Infold, the game’s developer, pulled the plug on the wolfy love interest mere days before his debut.
Love and Deepspace fans are gathering at Infold's Shanghai HQ to mourn the sudden removal of Valko, a character they were eagerly anticipating. Videos of emotional fans at the office building have gone viral on social media, with players also starting a petition urging Infold to bring Valko back.
The petition has garnered over 78,000 signatures and thousands of comments expressing disappointment over the decision to cancel Valko. Infold has not yet responded publicly to the backlash, leaving fans upset over the unexpected change in the game's romantic storyline.
Valko was set to be introduced as the sixth love interest in Love and Deepspace on July 9, but Infold announced on June 30 that they would not be proceeding with his launch, citing the need to better prepare for his introduction.
