It's another year, and that means another hilarious NFL release schedule video from the Los Angeles Chargers based on a video game.
This year, the Los Angeles Chargers revealed their 18-week schedule using Halo Infinite, starting in September and ending in January 2027. The team collaborated with Xbox to create the video in Halo Infinite's Forge mode. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma even showed support with three lightning bolt emojis in response to the post. Each weekly matchup was teased on the Mission Select screen, with unique maps in Halo for each opponent. The video included a custom boat to preview the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week 13.
This marks the second consecutive year that the Chargers have used an Xbox property for their schedule reveal, following Minecraft in the previous year. In 2024, they opted for The Sims 2, showcasing their diverse gaming interests.
