Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Promises Definitive Batman

We've had a lot of Batman stories over the past century or so, whether it be in comic books, theatrical serials, TV shows, movies, video games, or any other method people use to tell stories. It doesn't matter the form--Batman has been all over it.

Jonathan Smith, head of production at TT Games, revealed that Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will showcase the "definitive Batman story." The game was showcased at a press event in Los Angeles, allowing attendees to play for about two hours. Players experienced main story missions, such as Robin's origin story from Batman & Robin, and explored the open world of Gotham City. Drawing from a vast array of source material, the game promises to be expansive. TT Games, known for its Lego titles, has a history of creating content-rich games, with Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga being a recent example. Unlike the Skywalker Saga, which covered nine movies, the Batman game will delve into the character's extensive history from comics to theatrical movies.
