Kevin Feige Addresses Criticisms of Dr. Doom's Lack of Thanos-Level

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is responding to critics who feel Dr. Doom lacks the necessary buildup to become the next major MCU villain like Thanos.

Feige recently discussed the comparisons between the character arcs of Dr. Doom and Thanos, highlighting how Thanos' development over multiple movies led to his iconic status. Feige hinted that Doom will be properly introduced in a similar fashion to Thanos in an upcoming MCU film. The Marvel president emphasized that Doomsday will serve as an introduction to Doom's story, aiming to cater to both comic fans and newcomers.

Additionally, Feige hinted at future MCU projects beyond Doomsday, suggesting that the battle against Doom will extend into multiple films. The Hall H Panel at Comic Con also featured announcements such as a new Ghost Rider movie starring Ryan Gosling and a reveal about Black Panther III by actor David Jonsson.

With the upcoming release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day and the D23 event in August, more details about Marvel's future plans are expected to be unveiled in the near future.
